Shipping Policies

Order cut-off time is 1 PM Central Time. All orders are normally shipped within 24 - 48 hours, excluding holidays and weekends. All orders are sent via best available ground service or next day service depending on your choice of service. Choice of service is at our discretion. Care is taken that your order is properly packaged with adequate packing materials to help avoid any damage. E-mail notifications are sent out with tracking numbers. In the unlikely event that a shipping problem occurs, it is your responsibility to notify Stargate Lighting immediately.

We are unable to ship orders to P.O. boxes or outside the 50 States excluding Hawaii.

Terms of Service

All prices listed are priced as "cash with order". Cash means a company check, money order, bank draft or VISA/Master Card/Discover/American Express (We cannot accept international credit cards). Cash may be speedily transferred by bank wire transfer, call for details. Check may delay shipment 14 days for bank clearing time. Open account terms can be arranged (NET 10). Institutions and government agencies (NET 30). These terms are strictly enforced. A monthly late charge of 1.5% will be charged for all past due accounts.

Pricing and Product Specifications:

Prices and product specifications are subject to change without notice and may have typographical errors. The customer must assume the responsibility of asking Stargate Lighting to verify selling prices and product specifications. Stargate Lighting is not liable for costs or damages due to errors in product specifications. Special prices may be limited to certain merchandise and quantities in stock.

Stargate Lighting retains the right to unilaterally cancel any order and refund customer’s money due to any pricing error or similar error.

Product Images:

We make every effort to provide quality images on our web site, but we are sometimes limited to what is provided to us by the manufacturers. If you would like additional information about a product, please contact your Sales Pro.

Cancellation:

Customer may cancel up to 45 days after receipt of order. Unless a written cancellation is received, Stargate Lighting. will assume merchandise is still wanted and will make shipments. Cancellations of any special ordered merchandise already in transit to us, or to the customer, will not be honored.

Payment Processing:

Credit card payments are processed immediately at the time an order is placed.

Refunds:

In the case of order cancellation (mentioned above) refunds or merchandise credits will be made within 10 days of written request, only for cancelled and unshipped merchandise.

Parts Refunds:

Installed service parts purchased from Stargate Lighting are non-returnable unless they are defective upon arrival. In addition, all defective returns are exchange only - no money will be refunded.

Refund Methods:

Purchases made with a credit card will be refunded to the original credit card used for the purchase. Purchases made by check will be refunded via check made out to the original issuer of the check purchase. Cash and all other purchasing methods will be refunded via check made out to the original account holder and mailed to the original account holders address within 10 days of the return. Local retail cash refund limit is $20.00. All purchases over $20.00 will be refunded via check made out to the original account holder and mailed to the original account holder’s address within 10 days of the return.

Satisfaction Policy:

At Stargate Lighting your satisfaction is our top priority. Merchandise may be returned within 10 calendar days of receipt without restocking charge, if the original manufacturer's carton is unopened and undamaged. If the package has been opened a minimum restocking charge of 25% or $10.00, whichever is greater, will be charged. Used or damaged merchandise, missing accessories, or packaging will increase the restocking fee. The customer is responsible for all shipping expenses from and to us on returns, items originally sent via "free shipping", will be charged for the outgoing shipping on returns. Returns are not allowed on special-order/non-stock, custom goods, closeout, used or discontinued merchandise, tape, gel, lamps, books, opened software, ear-phones, chemicals, or on bids and contracts. All returns must have an RA-number on the package, please call a Sales Pro for details.

Defective Merchandise:

Stargate Lighting will do warranty and non-warranty work on many of the brands it sells. Please call first to see if you will be more quickly served by the manufacturer or us.

Return Procedures:

Any merchandise returned to Stargate Lighting must have an RA (Return Authorization) number attached. Without this number the package may be refused or not properly identified as to its origin and reason for being returned. Please call us for an RA number and have documentation such as the invoice or packing slip ready when you call. Make sure that all packing, accessories and manuals are returned to avoid additional restocking fees.

International Customers:

We do not accept orders on our website for shipment outside of the US. This includes orders shipped to Puerto Rico or APO/FPO boxes. However you can request a quote for your international order and have one of our sales professionals process your order or call 256-858-1979 to speak to a sales professional directly.

We strive to make sure each of our products is up to the challenges we encounter in the entertainment world. These are products made by performers, for performers. Yet, even with the best-laid plans, sometimes things go a little sideways.

 

WARRANTY PROGRAM DETAIL

Stargate Lighting hereby warrants that its products shall be free of manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for a prescribed period from the date of purchase or manufacture* (see specific warranty period below). This warranty shall be valid only if the product is purchased within the United States of America, including possessions and territories. This warranty shall be valid only if the product is purchased from an authorized dealer appointed by Stargate Lighting. It is the owner’s responsibility to establish the date and place of purchase by acceptable evidence.

For warranty service, you must obtain a Return Authorization number (RA#) before sending back the product. Please open a customer support ticket. Send the product only to Stargate Lighting. All shipping charges must be prepaid. If the requested repairs or service (including parts replacement) are within the terms of this warranty, Stargate Lighting will pay return shipping charges only to a designated point within the United States. If the entire instrument is sent, it must be shipped in its original package. No accessories should be shipped with the product. If any accessories are shipped with the product, Stargate Lighting shall have no liability whatsoever for loss of or damage to any such accessories, nor for the safe return thereof.

This warranty is void if the serial number has been altered or removed; if the product is modified in any manner that Stargate Lighting concludes, after inspection, affects the reliability of the product; if the product has been repaired or serviced by anyone other than the Stargate Lighting unless prior written authorization was issued to purchaser by Stargate Lighting; if the product is damaged because not properly maintained as set forth in the instruction manual.

This is not a service contract, and this warranty does not include maintenance, cleaning or periodic checkup. During the period specified below, Stargate Lighting will replace defective parts at its expense with new or refurbished parts, and will absorb all expenses for warranty service and repair labor by reason of defects in material or workmanship. The sole responsibility of Stargate Lighting under this warranty shall be limited to the repair of the product, or replacement thereof, including parts, at the sole discretion of Stargate Lighting.

Stargate Lighting reserves the right to make changes in design and/or improvements upon its products without any obligation to include these changes in any products theretofore manufactured.

No warranty, whether expressed or implied, is given or made with respect to any accessory supplied with products described above. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, all implied warranties made by Stargate Lighting in connection with this product, including warranties of merchantability or fitness, are limited in duration to the warranty period set forth below. And no warranties, whether expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness, shall apply to this product after said period has expired. The consumer’s and/or Dealer’s sole remedy shall be such repair or replacement as is expressly provided above; and under no circumstances shall Stargate Lighting be liable for any loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use of, or inability to use, this product.

This warranty is the only written warranty applicable to Stargate Lighting products and supersedes all prior warranties and written descriptions of warranty terms and conditions heretofore published.

LED Products: 2 years (Including motors, PCB boards, power supplies, driver boards and wiring, does not include damage to LEDs or any of the previously listed parts caused by mishandling)

  • Lamp Fixtures: 2 years
  • All Lamps: as-is
  • All Batteries: 1 year
  • Fog/Atmospheric Products: 1 year
  • Controller Products: 2 years
  • Laser Products: 2 years
  • Laser Diodes: 6 months
  • B-Stock Products: 90 days
  • Other products not listed here: 90 days

 

* The date of manufacture shall be used as the warranty period start date in cases where there is greater than a twelve (12) month difference between the date of manufacture and the date of purchase. For example, if a product having a manufacture date of November 2016 is purchased in December 2017, the warranty period will commence in November 2016.

This limited warranty is valid only for the original purchaser, is not transferable and is only applicable to products sold within the United States. For products purchased outside United States, please consult the local Stargate Lighting authorized distributor as warranty policies vary outside the United States.
